Jake's Promotion

Jake got promoted on September 1st, 2009 to Staff Sergeant, which is E-6. I was very excited because he actually let me pin his new rank on. Jake was selected a year ago for this promotion. I hope that you enjoy these pictures. I’m so happy that Jake’s command had someone taking pictures and I’m able to shares these with our friends and family. This might also be Jake’s last promotion as an enlisted member of the Marie Corps because he is putting in to switch over to officer. We are hoping that he is picked up in 2010. If he does get picked up we will leave the UK sometime next year.
Jake is just finishing up the last of his college classes and is so excited to be done. I’m getting ready to start classes on Monday September 7th, 2009. I’m a bit worried and have not quite got in the groove to start, but I’m sure I will soon!
