My Birthday~

I’m another year older, and another year wiser. I don’t seem to feel any different then the day before my birthday, but I am another year old. I think of age like fine wine, it gets better with age. I had a wonderful birthday. I didn’t get to sleep in on birthday, but that is okay because I love getting up with my little one. Jake and Reagan got me a very cute card, and Reagan even drew a picture inside of it for me. Jake let her use an ink pen, which caused her to have ink all over her pants. Oh, well… The fun of being able to draw inside your Mommies card on her birthday!

Jake and I had been talking about going to the Black Sheep Brewery ever since we had our first pint of Black Sheep beer, which was pretty much right after we arrived. We were so lucky that our friend Heidi babysat Reagan because a beer tour is no place for a baby. It was so nice to just get out the two of us because it doesn’t happen very often. When you have kids it seems like you rush though a meal because you know it’s only a matter of time before the little one has no more patience. The beer tour was okay, but nothing compared to Red Hook tour in Woodinville Washington. I strongly suggest going to Red Hook if you’re in the area. You can’t beat $1 for a shot glass and pint of beer. The story behind Black Sheep is great and it was interesting to see around the brewing factory. I have to say that our lunch was AMAZING. We did eat lunch at 12:30 on a Saturday, which was the time that every elderly person eats. I think we were the only ones in the restaurant that didn’t have a walker. It was an amazing lunch, and a great afternoon.

I look forward to what this next year has in store for us. I could not ask for a better husband, daughter, family or friends!

Happy Girl~

Driving in the car. What a handsome man I married!

This is what you get when you ask Jake to take his sunglasses off. He always plays the blue eye are so sensitive to the sun card.

I told Jake we had to act like we were on vacation!
