I can’t believe that we are coming up on Thanksgiving already. It seems like just yesterday we were seeing Reagan on an ultrasound. We have been busy recently with the Marine Corps Ball, and then some recent family pictures.
The Ball was probably the best food that we have ever had, and that is saying a lot considering this was my 6th one. The cake on the other hand not so great, but you can’t have it all. Jake had a blast and stayed much later then I did, and enjoyed his new Marine Corp mug, and the unlimited beer that went along with it. I was just happy that I could reuse a dress that I had. I figured not bad for having a baby less then 5 months ago. We overall had a nice time.
We left Reagan with a friend of mine during the ball, and it was extremly hard. I was crying off and on all day. Jake thought I was nuts, but this is the first time we had left her with someone that was not family. I totally trust my girlfriend, but you always have those scary thoughts at the back of your head. I thought, “What if she can off mith my baby”, or something nuts like that. Nothing bad happen, and Reagan had a blast. She got lots of play time in, and was even asleep when I got home. I was the crazy mom who called 4 times and was only out of the house for 3 hours. Maybe next time it will be better.
We also did some new family pictures. I hope you all like the pictures!

I know exactly what you mean about leaving the baby! I felt the same way but getting better - just left with my mom and Aaron's mom so far so it's been pretty easy. She is such a chunky lovely doll!
ReplyDeleteChelsea, I'm happy to know I'm not the only one that felt this way. She is a very chunky baby. I get asked all the time if she is eating food yet. I think the boobies are doing just fine for her.
