Week 16~

We are at the end of another week. I can’t believe that week 16 is coming to a close and we are that much closer to holding our baby. This week has been a bit crazy as far as the weather goes. We have gotten even more snow. I guess this is the worst snow that the UK has seen in 100 years. It’s crazy that we have now been dealing with snow and freezing temperatures for a month. I’m ready for spring to come.

This week has gone really well. I had a follow up doctor’s appointment and got to hear the baby’s heart beat. Every time that we got to hear the heart beat clear the baby moved and the doctor would have to search around for it again. I guess our little baby is stubborn already. I’m still dealing with horrific skin breakouts. I think that this baby is going to be extra beautiful because it has taken all of my looks. I have been a little emotional this week, but I think part of that is due to not sleeping very well. I have to say that sleeping on your left side is so hard. I feel like I’m getting bed sores. I think that I have started to feel the baby move, but it’s not constant enough for me to be convinced yet. On the 6th of January I woke up and all of a sudden had a potbelly. I guess you will have to be the judge. My girlfriend Sareh who was in town, even said that it was the first sign of a prego belly for me. She has been telling me for weeks that I still have nothing, but this time she agreed that there is finally something. We have our ultrasound on the 25th of January to find out if we are having a little boy or girl. I can’t wait to finally know.

All of our company left on the 7th of January and we are now just busy getting back in the swing of things. It was nice to have company and we are so happy that we got to see Dallas, Sareh and Jason. We hope that they all had a wonderful trip. The 7th of January also marked our 1 year anniversary in the UK. I can’t believe that it has been 1 year since we got here. It still feels like we just left Hawaii yesterday.
