Welcome to our new home Part 1

Nothing like getting up early to try and punch out a few hours of work before the little one wakes to find that you only have 17 minutes of work. I would much rather be snuggled in my warn bed, then awake drinking my second cup of coffee listening to the furnace kick on and off. The one good thing is that I’m able to finish this blog posting of our house, or at least part of. I hope that you all enjoy some of the pictures of our house. I still have to take pictures of the bedroom in the basement along with the family room, garage, ect. Let’s just say it’s a work in progress. It’s funny because when we started looking at homes with our realtor we told him, “No 70’s slit foyers.” Then what you know we end up purchasing one! The house is great, or as great as a house can be. It has a decent size yard, a peek-a-boo view of the water, corner lot, 4 bedrooms 2.5 bath, garage and best of all my family! It was until just the last week, or so I finally felt like this is our home. I felt like we were on vacation for a while, and would be going home to England soon. I think that part of me was hoping this was the case because I love England! I have finally forced that thought out of my head, and working on making the house feel more ours. I know I need to put stuff on the walls as you can see from the pictures, but that will come in time. In the meantime get a feeling for this new place we call home.
