Hello readers! I’m Candice, the one behind the blog. I started this blog 4 years ago because my husband Jake and I move to England. I figure that the blog was a great way for friends and family to follow along on our adventures. Our lives have changed and we no longer live in England, but blogging keeps us connected to loved ones. The blog got its name The Evans Flat because of our name and when we moved to England I figured we would be living in a flat. It’s not exactly how things worked out, but the name has stayed.

I’m a stay at home Mommy, a wife, a cook, a maid and a personal assistant. I may have gotten my degree in marketing, but my current job is the best I could have asked for. I’m so blessed that I have gotten the opportunity to stay home. I married the love of my life Jake in 2005. We started our life as one together in Hawaii, but after 3 years moved to England. Jake’s job as a US Marine has moved us all over. What can I say other then I love a man in uniform! We welcomed a beautiful little girl named Reagan in June of 2010. She has been the center of our World, and we enjoy every second with her. After battling fertility issues we welcomed our second daughter Tenley in October 2012. She is an angel sent from God and has completed our little family. 

When it comes to things that I love I have to say family.  I also enjoy trying to take pictures. I figure if you take 100,000 you’re destine to get one good one out of the bunch. I love to bake cupcakes. I love the heat, but hate the bugs that come with the heat. I’m a sucker for romance books and movies. I love to get flowers for no reason and love snuggle time with my hubby. I love the smell of rain,  fresh cut grass and #1 GOD. I love to learn new things. I love the feeling of accomplishment, when you thought you couldn't do it, but did. 

My blog is about my life. I love being able to talk about it. I also think that having this blog has given me the opportunity to express my feeling, and thoughts. It helps my brain to be creative! I hope that you enjoy reading along.
