Welcome to Russia ! In the days leading up to our visit of St. Petersburg we kept saying, “Welcome to Mother Russia,” in our best Russian accent. I have to say that I was a little anxious about going to Russia and I’m sure your wondering why. I kept imagining the worst things happening; perhaps someone was going to try and steal Reagan. I felt my stomach going in knots just waiting to get off the ship. We spent the morning playing around the ship until our afternoon tour. To get off the ship you had to have either a tourist visa, or be booked on a ship-sponsored tour. No one is allowed to roam around the country unescorted. We had booked an afternoon tour that took us on a tour of the city’s cannels and Yusupov’s Palace. It was a nice short tour. We got to see lots of the sights & take pictures from the boat. Reagan did really well, and we constantly received complements on her good behavior. After the palace we headed back to the ship, ready to set off for Copenhagen . That night we enjoyed a nice dinner, and decided to try our luck at BINGO again. I’m happy to say that I finally won a game, along with four other people. While it was great to win, it was not so great to split the 150 Euro prize 5 ways.

Some yummy breakfast.
