1st stop on our cruise~

Jake, Reagan and I have just returned from a week long cruise in the Baltic Sea. We had a blast and only managed to take about 2,000 pictures. I now just have to sort through them all and start posting them for your pleasure.

We all enjoyed the cruise, and most of all Reagan. She got more attention then anyone one person should get in a lifetime. Pretty much everyone talked about how beautiful and well behaved she is. If you don’t want people coming up and touching your kid don’t go on a cruise. If you’re under 65 then you’re in the young group on our cruise. I have to say the biggest down fall was not being able to use a flat iron. We set sail from Copenhagen, and our first stop was Kiel Germany. The weather in Kiel was a bit wet, but a warm 70 degrees. We just walked around the city and enjoyed the sights. It happens to be Sunday when we arrived, and the city was pretty much shut down. We still had fun making foot prints all over the city. I had been dealing with some MAJOR land-sickness. I thought I would be fine, but I was mistaking. I felt like I had a horrible hangover all day long. I even managed to get sick a few times, which Jake found hysterical. I think it’s due to the fact that he kept telling me to take some sea-sickness medication. Reagan was also not feeling super great, but she managed to sleep off her sickness. I hope that you enjoy the pictures.

A little bit about Kiel thanks to Wikipedia:

Kiel (German pronunciation is the capital and most populous city in the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein, with a population of 238.049 (2010).

Kiel is approximately 90 kilometres (56 mi) north of Hamburg. Due to its geographic location in the north of Germany, the southeast of the Jutland peninsula, and the southwestern shore of the Baltic Sea, Kiel has become one of the major maritime centres of Germany. For instance, the city is known for a variety of international sailing events, including the annual Kiel Week, which is the biggest sailing event in the world. The Olympic sailing competitions of the 1936 and the 1972 Summer Olympics were held in Kiel.[2]

Kiel has also been one of the traditional homes of the German Navy's Baltic fleet, and continues to be a major high-tech shipbuildingcentre. Located in Kiel is the Leibniz Institute of Marine Sciences at the University of Kiel (IFM-GEOMAR). Kiel is an important sea transport hub, thanks to its location at the Kiel Fjord (Kieler Förde) and the busiest artificial waterway in the world, Kiel Canal (Nord-Ostsee-Kanal). A number of passenger ferries to Sweden, Norway and other countries operate from here. Moreover, today Kiel harbour is an important port of call for cruise ships touring the Baltic Sea.

We're on our way to Copenhagen. Reagan is super excited about her 9th plane ride!

Have you ever been to Germany? Germany has to be the cleanest country in the WHOLE WORLD. Jake and I both agree. Look at that ground, you could eat off of it.

Only my husband would recognize that a car has the name "Assman." It's totally a guy thing!

Reagan is dealing with some land-sickness as am I. The only difference is that she is sleeping it off, while I carry her around the city.

In Kiel they have 2 of these beautiful lakes.

This is pretty much how I felt all day long. I really should have listened to Jake and taken some motion-sickness meds. Land-sickness feels like a bad hangover.

She loves the elevator. It's so much fun to see yourself in every direction, plus Mom & Dad let her push the button.

All energized and ready to play!
