11 Months Old

I have been a little behind updating the blog, but I’m getting back at it. I think Reagan’s upcoming 1st Birthday party, the move, our vacation and house work have all been distracting me. I was not going to fall behind on Reagan’s 11 month posting though. Can you believe that she is 11 months old? I know that every day I can’t believe it myself. It feels like just yesterday, Jake and I brought home this little baby with soft brown hair and rosy cheeks. She is not my little baby, but she’ll always be my little girl.

Okay a little about Miss Reagan. She now has 4 teeth poking through, but one of them is just the tip. She has a little crooked smile, but what else would you expect from parents that both had braces! She melts our heart every time that we ask her a question, and she nods yes if it’s something she wants. It’s pretty much the cutest thing you have ever seen. She is able to go from sitting to standing without pulling up on furniture. She also is taking at least 4 steps alone without holding onto anything. I think that she has not realized that she can walk all by herself. If you hold one of her hands she’ll walk all over the place. She is now saying Dada, which makes Jake smile every time that she does it. She loves her Dad so much and gets so excited when he gets home from work. Between Reagan and the dogs I think Jake really feels the love when he walks through the door. The other big things that Reagan has accomplished this month is saying yum and stinky. She has also mastered drinking from a straw, which is pretty impressive because I purchased the cups that say ages 2+. Reagan has also started to learn about going down the stairs. I sometimes think Jake teaches her the things that frighten me the most. Were always around to help and supervise, but the stairs are a scary thing for parents. Reagan is sleeping in her bed from 7:30pm-5:15am. I then bring her in our bed and she’ll go back to sleep till 6:30. I guess our days of sleeping till 10 o’clock are over. It feels like 10 o’clock when she gets up because it’s super bright outside. She is still nursing, but only about 3 times now. I’m planning on cutting her off next month. I just don’t know if my milk supply will last that long. I think this human milk machine is drying up. She still loves yogurt, and hates chunky food unless she is feeding it to herself. I guess that is about all for now.

I have changed the way I post the pictures. If your wondering what I'm talking about go check out the tab at the top that says, "photos."
