5 Months Old~

I can't believe that my baby is 5 months old. I got an email on Saturday that told me she is 22 weeks old. It seemed liked it took forever for 22 weeks to happen when I was pregnant, but now the time is just flying. I never thought that it would go so fast. I feel like I don't get enough time, but I have to say that we are really enjoying her little personality, and how much fun that she has become. I love every stage that she is going through more and more.

Reagan has mastered rolling over from her back to belly both ways this month. She is also able to sit up for a few seconds alone without falling over. She now thinks that everything belongs to her, and grabs for it all. If you have something she will think that it's something she needs to have. Her favorite toy is this Fisher Price camera that lights up and sings songs. She also is starting to grab for my camera when I take pictures of her. It makes me wonder if she is going to be a World famous photographer one day. I want so many things for her in life, but most of all I want her to just be happy and healthy. Jake will say that she has to be better than us, and be more educated then we are. She loves to grab at her toes now, which amazes me because she is still a little chunk.

She is still sleeping in our room. We decided at 6 months she will start sleeping in a crib at night. It makes me sad just typing the words out. I think that it must be a Mommy thing. I love rolling over to check on her in the middle of the night, and wake up to her smiling face in her co-sleeper next to me. These are the things that I will miss so much, but that is part of being a parent. You have to watch your children grow up.
Her favorite thing is still the boobies. What can I say she is a well fed child, and it makes me feel good knowing that my body does it all. It's pretty amazing that my body was able to grow her and now feed her. I get asked a lot how long I’m planning on breastfeeding. I figure I would like to do it until she is a year old, or as long as my boobs will hold out.

We are looking forward to the holidays and everyone getting to meet Reagan. It will be so great to see family and friends again. I’m not looking forward to the flight with a 6 month old, but by the end of the trip she’ll be a pro. Reagan and I are super excited for our trip to Hawaii. Okay, Reagan has no idea what Hawaii is, but I keep telling her about it and she smiles. I can’t wait to see friends and soak up some much needed sunshine.

I guess that is all for now. I hope everyone loves the pictures. Oh, and the bottom pictures are of me as a baby. I think I’m a little older then Reagan, but not exactly sure. It’s funny how one day she looks like me as a baby and the next like Jake. Jake will say that she doesn’t look like either of us!
