Cheering Dad on at his 7K race~
I can't believe that Reagan is already 2 months old. The time has flown so fast, and she has changed to a completely different baby then the one we brought home from the hospital. She is no longer a newborn, but a baby now. It makes me sad how fast she has already changed. I want to stop time because I know that she will be all grown up before we know it. She is already 11 pounds and 25 inches long. She has grown almost 5 inches since she was born and almost 4 pounds. She is outgrowing her 3 month old clothes faster then I can get them on her. I can't believe that our 2 month old is already fitting into 3-6 month old clothes. Her eyes have continued to stay very blue and I think she still looks just like her Daddy. She does have her Mommy's crazy hair already. She has this massive cow lick on the back of her hair that doesn't know what it wants to do. If you try and brush it to the left then it sticks to the right, if you brush it to the right it sticks to the left. Her hair already has a mind of it's own. She is also starting to get little hairs that want to curl when they are wet. Jake was really hoping that she would have straight hair so that it was manageable, but that is not going to happen. I find him trying to brush the little curls or wispy hairs down, but they spring right back to their craziness. She is getting so strong with her neck and can hold it up for such a long time now and is even doing little baby push-ups. I think the most exciting thing that has happened is that she has started to coo and talk to us. The morning are my favourite because she gets so excited and loves to kick her legs and talk to me and give me giant smiles. She already is shy of the camera because every time I try to capture one of those giant gummy smiles she stops. I guess this is just preparing me for years of her fighting me on pictures. She is the only 2 month old that hates things most babies love. The things she doesn't like are: naps, pacifiers and her car-seat. She would prefer to use me as a pacifier. Jake and I have really gotten into the swing of being parents and enjoy her so much. We both love to play with her on her play mat and she has started to grab for the toys and loves the butterfly that plays music and lights up. I guess that is about all for now. I could write a novel, but I think I'll just keep it short this month.

You are young, fresh parents with the energy to do what's before you. God has ordained so. Every event you note is significant. Blogs: wonderful--one can return to these moments and share with parents who may vaguely remember their children's stages, we love hearing of these moments with your baby girl, and we again remember...with joy. Thank you for sharing. May God bless and sustain your busy days.
