Growing Like A Weed....

How can it be that your 5 weeks old? Time truly does speed by when you have kids. I’m a little scared that I might blink, and my life will have passed me by. I have decided to REALLY make sure I cherish every moment because life is just speeding full speed ahead now. I have always been a cleaning nut, but I’m going to let something go. I have decided to spend my time with Reagan because she’ll only be little for a short time. I'll wake up one day she will be walking, going to school, going on her first date, her first day of college, getting married and then becoming a mommy herself. I sure hope that it goes in that order! I figured that when she is sleeping or spending time with her Daddy I’ll work on house work. I don’t think my toilet is going to freak out if I don’t clean it every few days.

We took Reagan back to the doctor on Friday, and the doctor is still going to continue to watch the lumps aka possible lymph nodes for now. He said if they continue to grow then he’ll have it removed, but not worth doing this unless they keep growing. So in the meantime we are just going to keep praying for her to stay happy and healthy. Jake and I were amazed at how big she has gotten. They weighed her at the doctors and she is a wopping 9 pounds 4 oz (she did have clothes and a diaper on). I guess the mommy milk is working wonders because she is truly growing like a weed. It sure makes a mommy feel good to know that my body is producing enough food. I find it so amazing that my body was able to grow her inside of me, and now produce what she needs to eat. I truly have to say that it’s amazing. I have really enjoy nursing, which is great because I was not sure how I would feel about it. I used to get a little freaked out when I would see people in public breastfeeding, but when it comes to your own baby you have a different feeling about it. I’m not saying that I throw my boob out in public, but the closeness you feel is amazing. Reagan has gotten a few bottles of breast milk from Jake and does great. I know he has really enjoyed feeding her. I went to the gym for the first real workout in 10 months on her 5 week birthday and it was great. I felt amazing and much to my own surprise still has a ton of energy. I didn’t feel like I was going to fall over and die after 15 minutes of cardio. Jake stayed home with Reagan and fed her all of the milk stash I had in the freezer. It was not a ton, but enough to knock her out pretty much all afternoon. I now have to work all week to replenish my supply.

I hope everyone is doing well and you enjoy the posting.

Some new pictures of the little one~

So, I got some pictures of Jake as a baby and I was so shocked at how much Reagan and him look alike. I always thought they looked alike, but in some pictures it looks as if it's the same baby.
