I decided that instead of putting a few different posts that I would just add it all into one larger post. I will first start off with week 27, which sort of runs hand in hand with our Deutschland (Germany) trip. Let’s start off with, Week 27 or, if you’re my doctor/midwife week 27 and 5 days. I decided to stick with the June 20th due date for my blog and pregnancy journal. Even though they changed my due date to June 16th and measure that the baby is even a week bigger than that. So, maybe she will come sometime around June 9th. The only one who knows when she will come is her. The week started off with Jake’s Birthday March 21st. We spend his actually birthday doing things a little low key. We spend his actually Birthday sleeping in, late lunch early dinner and a movie. It was a wonderful low key birthday and a great day to prepare for our busy week long trip.
We left the following day for Deutschland and were thrilled to see something else in Europe. We didn’t get into Germany until late on the 22nd of March and then had to try and find our way to Garmish Partenkirchen. It was a little crazy getting on and off trains with our massive amounts of luggage. I miss the day when I could carry a pack instead of wheeling a suitcase. It sure makes things a bit easier. We got to the hotel and instantly fell in love with it and much to our surprise the weather was so warm. The next few days Jake did some snowboarding, (I went up the mountain with him one day and read a book. We both got sunburned) sightseeing around the town and went and toured the Neuschwanstein Castle. It was pretty amazing overall, except the bus ride made both of us sick. I got some really bad heartburn that even made me get sick a few times when we got back. Our baby girl was so active this week (27). She was kicking up a storm, and Jake loved being able to feel her. It’s pretty amazing to watch knees and elbows poke out of my belly. He told me that he wants to tap on my belly like a fish tank.
We left the mountains on Friday and headed into Munich. It was not bad of a trip into the city, but the weather was much colder and windy. Then Saturday we spend the day at the BMW museum. This was also the place that I pulled a dumb move and deleted all of our pictures up to that point. It was an accident, but I felt so bad. We had to go back to the start of the museum and taken some more pictures. Then Sunday we spend the day at Dachau the first concentration camp that was ever opened by the Nazis. It was a pretty surreal experience and very sad.
Week 28 of my pregnancy went really well. I got a little freaked out like I always seem to because the little one was not as active this week. Jake just keeps telling me that I have the rest of her life to worry, but should wait until she is born. I had an appointment with a midwife and that went fine and our daughter of course measured much bigger for her due date. I think I'm destine to have a large baby. I also met with my military doctor and he put in the referral for us to go down to the military hospital that we will deliver her. I have noticed that the baby’s movements are so much different in just a week then before. She likes to have her feet in my ribs, which is extremely painful. I sometimes think I feel her run her toes across the inside of my rib cage. I have also noticed that her moves are more roles than kicks now. When she moves my whole stomach looks like a giant wave happened under it. I’m now finishing this not so great posting, and I can’t believe that based on my due date of June 16th that today I’m 29 weeks and 4 days. WOW the time sure has been fast, but slow at the same time.
I hope that everyone enjoys our posting and pictures. I hope that next week I will have a bit more to talk about.

27 Weeks Prego (The last day of week 27)~

28 Weeks~ Yep.I wore the same shirt both weeks. Oopps.

Jake's hands take up almost all my belly.

Wow, C, you look gorgeous! I remember Danny getting his feet or heels stuck in my ribs and I kinda had to dig them out. And the rolling and shifting can never be forgotten. The most incredible feeling a woman can experience. I would spoon up to Dan's back and the baby would just kick him. Such fun!
