So, the first thing that I really like is swaddle me. I know that it looks like a baby straight jacket, but they are AMAZING! The reason that I like them so much is because they are dad friendly or if you’re not great at swaddling these are wonderful. The baby stays nice and tight.

Then when it comes to the lady bug she is from Cloud B. I have not seen her before, but have been around the turtle and thought he was great. It’s a great night light, but also educations because it puts constellations on the wall. I thought a lady bug would be fitting for a little girl’s room.

This is the Co-Sleeper. I’m not familiar with one, but everyone that has had one raves about it and so do the reviews. I originally wanted to go with a bassinet, but due to the fact that we might be leaving in September this is more practical for us. It has gotten great reviews on breastfeeding and easily getting your baby in the middle of the night, due to the fact that if fits right up to your bed. I also like the fact that it can be packet up and we can use it until the baby is around 6 months old. I would love for her to be sleeping in a crib a bit earlier or least getting used to one before this time, but if we leave in September then we will get a crib when we get back to the states and set up a place sometime around December. If we don’t end up leaving I will be getting a crib much sooner.

Then the one product that I pretty much am in love with and don’t think I can live without the Medela double breast pump. It’s pretty much the most amazing brand of breast pumps. If you don’t go Medela don’t go at all is what I hear. I want to purchase a nice breast pump because I would like to at least pump until our daughter is a year old. I have also talked with my midwife and she said you can start right soon after the baby is born. This is great news because then other people can feed her. Yep, that is right Jake will be getting up in the middle of the night on his days off to take care of her also!

Then when it comes to strollers Jake and I did a bunch of research on them. I have to say that I hate Graco strollers. I’m sorry if I hurt anyone’s feels. We knew that we wanted to go with a jogger, but not sure what one we wanted. Well, let me rephrase this.. I didn’t know what one I wanted. I had to make sure that I looked at everyone out there before I settled on what one we would register for. Jake is in love with the Bob stroller. I guess he feels the same way about it as I do the breast pump. There has to be one baby item that each of us loves! So, when it comes to Bob stroller they are amazing. I have used one for almost every family that I nannied. I also like that you can purchase the adapter to fit a newborn car seat on it. The other great thing about Bob is that you would be amazed at how small that it collapses and light weight. So, when it came to color Jake as all about making sure that we didn’t get a girly color. I would have loved to get brown and pink, but knew that it was more practical to go with gender neutral coloring.

This is the Britax car seat. I would have to say that it’s the Volvo of car seats as far as safety goes. I used one with one of the last families I nannied for and surprising it did fit in the backseat of our BMW. We liked this car seat because of safety and that it goes from New born to 65 pound kid. It still blows my mind how long kids are in car seats for. I remember being a little kid probably 5 and less than 50 pounds sitting without a car seat. Times have changed for sure. I told Jake that I wanted it in a girly color so we decided on pink and brown.

Then the final thing that I posted on here is the nursery bedding that we decided on. I was upset that Babies R’ Us didn’t have the whole set. They only carried the mobile and window valance. That is okay because I found it on Amazon and Target. I promised Jake that I would wait a bit to purchase it. It’s very girly, but still very cute.
I guess that is about all I have to report for now. I could go on about things for days, but I had some free time and figured I would do a little posting. It really started off with wanting to show everyone the nursery bedding we decided on!
I hope that everyone has a great week. I will post my growing belly at the end of week 21 (Friday). I’m not sure how much bigger it will be from last week, but my skin is sure starting to feel tighter. I think that one morning I will just wakeup and there will be a belly.
If you’re a mom or dad and you think of things that you loved you should let us know. We would love to know what other people really enjoyed and what they could have gone without. Send us an email and share your great knowledge.
Good choices-you're just like me, studying everything so hard. I really see that you love pink/brown (your background...hehe) And then writing a research paper on it, including pictures? My kinda girl. ;-)
