Week 18~

We are yet again at the end of another week. YIPEE! I can’t believe that this is the end of week 18 and we are approaching the middle of our pregnancy. This week started off with a check up after the health issues last week. I’m feeling much better, but still having some kidney issues and need to get that checked out next week. It’s a bit of a hassle just because I have to go back to my general doctor and then have him refer me out. I sure wish that it could be a bit easier, but dealing with the military and Universal Health Care is never an easy deal.

The week overall was pretty slow and cold here in the UK. I think that due to the fact that we can’t wait for our appointment on Monday January 25th, 2010 is the main reason this week has been so slow. We will finally get to find out if we are having a him or her. That is if our baby cooperates at the ultrasound. I think that I’m feeling the baby move around in there, but things are so not consistent that it makes it hard for me to believe. I’m ready for the baby to be big enough to give me a nice punch so I know for sure and so Jake can feel. We finished one of many pregnancy books that we are reading this week. I’m pretty sure that Jake thinks our baby is a he only because he has never referred to it as anything else. I’m starting to feel like it’s a girl, but that could change at any moment. I figure one of us has to be right!

Oh, I forgot the other big news for this week. I bought my ticket to come back to Washington at the beginning of March! I’m very excited to step foot in the good old USA! Jake is jealous that I get to eat some good Mexican food. I hope to see lots of you at my baby shower on the 6th of March! I’m hoping for some warm weather, but you never know what I might get. I might have to bring Dallas and Sareh the cold weather back, that they brought over here to the UK in December. I guess that is about all to report for this week.
