I’m so excited that it’s December. It’s normally pretty hard being away from family and friends during the holidays, but this year is different. I don’t know if it’s because I’m used to it just being Jake and I, or because Dallas and Sareh are coming to visit. I think that it might be a combination of both. I’m so excited to have visitors. I wish that everyone would be able to visit but I can’t expect for everyone to make the trip to the other side of the world. We have been busy getting the house ready and feeling Christmas like. Jake and I pulled our Christmas tree finally. It has been sitting in our garage in Hawaii since 2006 and much to both of our surprise there was not a single roach in the box or on the tree. I think the odds of that are better than winning the lotto. We have lots of traveling in the next few weeks. In a week from today we are flying off to Garmish Germany. It’s a short trip, but Jake is thrilled about snowboarding. It seems to be the only thing he can talk about. I’m excited to see the snow and see some sights in the area. Then we will be back home for Christmas, and Jake to go back to work. Yep, you heard me right. He works all holidays this year. Then we have our friend Jason coming in to town a few days after Christmas to join in the fun. The five of us are all going to pack into our VW Golf and drive down to Bath and London. It should defiantly be an adventure having us all stuffed into a little car for the 5 hour drive. We are going to do some sigh seeing in Bath and then spend New Years in London.
I hope you enjoy me pictures of my cookies I cooked and our Christmas tree. Sorry, I didn't add pictures of my fudge. I think that you can see I have defiantly been in the baking mood. I will update pictures with our trips soon! I hope that everyone has a blessed Christmas and wonderful New Year
